Wix’s New AI Builds Sites For You

Wix has launched their new AI chatbot that enables users to build websites instantly based on simple prompts. This tool allows for the creation of a complete website, including images, free of charge.

However, accessing advanced features like accepting payments or opting out of a Wix domain requires upgrading to one of Wix’s premium plans, which range from $17 to $159 per month.

To use this feature, you can click the “Create with AI” button and answer a few questions about your website’s name, purpose, and objectives.

Then, the AI quickly generates a basic website, which can then be customized further in terms of theme and layout – utilizing models such as DALL-E for graphics and OpenAI’s ChatGPT for text.

While it won’t work miracles, it’s a good way to get a website started.

ChatGPT Can Read Responses Aloud

OpenAI has [re]introduced a “Read Aloud” feature for ChatGPT, enhancing its accessibility and convenience for users by enabling the AI to vocally narrate its responses in one of five voice options.

This feature supports 37 languages, automatically detects the text’s language, and is now integrated into both the web and mobile (iOS and Android) versions of ChatGPT, covering both GPT-4 and GPT-3.5 models.

ChatGPT can now read responses to you.

The Read Aloud feature is particularly beneficial for users on the move, offering an alternative to reading text by having ChatGPT articulate responses out loud.

This builds on ChatGPT’s voice chat capability introduced in September 2023, which allowed for voice-based prompts.

In mobile applications, you can activate the Read Aloud functionby pressing and holding the text, which provides options to play, pause, or rewind the narration. For web users, a speaker icon located below the text box serves as a prompt for activating the audio response.
