Trump Posts AI-Generated Swift Endorsement

Former President Donald Trump recently shared a series of AI-generated images, including a fabricated endorsement from pop star Taylor Swift.

While some state laws ban AI-generated election deepfakes, Trump’s posts might not violate these due to their exaggerated nature.

Legal experts suggest that Swift could potentially have a claim under California’s Right of Publicity law.

However, regulating AI deepfakes at the federal level remains complex, and private platforms like X (formerly Twitter) could play a crucial role in addressing misleading content.

Lamborghini’s First EV On The Horizon

Lamborghini is preparing to release its first full electric vehicle (EV), but they’re still working out the timing of the launch.

The Temerario, which replaces the Huracán, features a 4.0-liter V8 engine paired with a hybrid system, producing 907 horsepower and capable of reaching 62mph in just 2.7 seconds.

Lamborghini’s Chief Technical Officer, Rouven Mohr, indicated that the company is waiting for the EV market to stabilize before launching its electric vehicle.

Procreate’s Anti-AI Pledge Wins Praise

Procreate, the popular iPad illustration app, has taken a firm stance against integrating generative AI into its products, earning widespread praise from users.

CEO James Cuda expressed his concerns about the impact of AI on the art industry, stating that generative AI is “ripping the humanity out of things” and is built on a foundation of theft.

Meanwhile, Adobe and Wacom face backlash for their use or support of AI-generated content.
