United Airlines Offering Free Wi-Fi On All Flights

United Airlines plans to add SpaceX’s Starlink high-speed Wi-Fi service to all its aircraft starting in 2025, offering free access to passengers on more than 1,000 planes.

The service promises to provide fast, reliable internet connections that allow streaming and video calls, challenging the slow, inconsistent in-flight Wi-Fi many airlines currently offer.

United’s Starlink rollout follows similar plans by other airlines like Hawaiian Airlines and WestJet.

Plaud NotePin: Useful AI Voice Recorder Facing A Tough Future

The Plaud NotePin, an AI-powered voice recorder, offers features like audio transcription and summarization but struggles against the convenience of smartphones.

While the $169 device is easy to use and records decent quality audio, its limitations lie in its app’s lack of integration with other tools, making it harder for users to manage and utilize their recordings efficiently.

With voice transcription and summarization becoming standard on smartphones and wearables, the NotePin faces an uncertain future despite its effective hardware design.

Instagram may soon allow users to share their comments from posts directly to Meta’s Threads platform.

A new feature in development, as revealed by reverse engineer Alessandro Paluzzi, could let users choose to post comments on both Instagram and Threads through a dropdown menu.

This is part of Meta’s larger strategy to integrate Threads with its other platforms, continuing its efforts to link the app to Instagram, Facebook, and the fediverse.
