OpenAI Releases Another Cheaper, Smarter Model

OpenAI has launched GPT-4o Mini, a cost-effective and more capable alternative to GPT-3.5 — making AI more accessible and affordable, supporting both text and vision tasks in the API.

GPT-4o Mini boasts an impressive 82 percent score on the MMLU benchmark, outperforming GPT-3.5 and competing closely with other models.

Developers can use GPT-4o Mini for various applications, including virtual assistants and expense data extraction tools.
