Google’s Upgraded AI Image Generator Is Available

Google has released the latest version of its AI image generator, Imagen 3, to users in the US. This tool, accessible through Google’s AI Test Kitchen, offers improved image quality with better detail and lighting.

While Imagen 3 includes guardrails to prevent generating images of public figures or weapons, users can still create images that resemble well-known characters by using descriptive words rather than exact names.

Rivian’s New Fold-&-Stow Electric Kitchen

Rivian has introduced a new travel kitchen accessory designed for its electric vehicles, available for $1,400.

The compact and foldable kitchen setup includes two induction burners, a cutting board, and additional storage.

The kitchen is part of Rivian’s Adventure Gear product line and is designed to be placed on a vehicle’s tailgate and can be powered by a 120V outlet.

Google’s AI-Generated Search Summaries Updated

Google is enhancing its AI-generated search summaries by changing how sources are displayed. Now, source websites are shown more prominently on the right side of the AI Overviews, with ongoing experiments to include clickable links directly in the summary text.

This update aims to increase traffic to publisher sites and improve user navigation. Google has also started offering publishers a way out, but in doing so, you concede to the overviews and die pages back in the search results.
