Future Of AI Gadgets Is Just Phones

You’d be better off downloading an AI program to your phone, and putting it in your front pocket that ponying up the money for an AI wearable.

At least, that’s what we’re all coming to realize.

All of these peripheral devices popping up are cool, but walking around with a necklace assistant, projector pin, smart ring, ChatGPT watch, AI glasses, and other AI-integrated clothes is too much.

What if all of these smart objects could be combined into one portable device?

Maybe one that also has a camera, a place to take notes, maybe even communicate with other people too…

Ahhhh, yes — your phone..

While all these devices are dope in theory, they’re adding unnecessary complexity to your day-to-day life. There’s no real reason to have them [unless you’re trying to flex your disposable income].

Tesla Cuts Prices By $2,000 & Ends Referral Program

Tesla has announced a $2,000 price cut on its Model Y, S, and X vehicles, alongside the impending closure of its existing referral program on April 30th.

The referral program, long cherished by Tesla enthusiasts for its perks such as free Supercharging miles, is set to return in a new form, though details remain sparse.

The reason for this change is due to troubling times for the company, marked by poor sales performance described as “an unmitigated disaster,” a major recall of the Cybertruck, and the abandonment of the planned $25,000 “Model 2” vehicle.

KIA’s Affordable EV2 Ready To Undercut Tesla

Kia is going to challenge Tesla’s market position with its upcoming EV2, an affordable electric crossover recently spotted in Korea in a camouflage vehicle.

Although not yet confirmed for the U.S. market, the EV2 is expected to be priced significantly below the average electric vehicle, with estimates ranging from approximately $15,000 to under $30,000.

Kia’s introduction of the EV2 follows the successful launch of other models like the EV6 and EV9, enhancing its competitive stance against Tesla and expanding its electric vehicle lineup, which includes plans for further models such as the EV3, EV4, and EV5.

Target Confirms It’s Ditching DVDs

Target has announced that it will significantly reduce the availability of DVDs in its physical stores — focusing on selling them online.

According to a company spokesperson, Target will offer select DVDs in-store only during specific times such as new releases or the holiday season, when they are more popular for gift-giving.

They aren’t the first one to make this move either, Best Buy recently removed their DVDs as well due to the declining in-store sales for physical media as digital and streaming options become more prevalent.
