Impulse Labs Unveils Ultra-Fast Induction Stove

A former Google Glass and Oculus engineer Sam D’Amico has developed an induction stove with burners that pack 10kW of peak power, capable of boiling a liter of water in 40 seconds flat.

The stove, which includes a built-in battery and works with a standard 120v outlet, is set to launch later this year for $6,000.

 

Google Purging Low-Quality Android Apps

Starting August 31st, Google will enforce stricter quality standards for Android apps on the Play Store.

Apps that fail to provide a “stable, engaging, responsive user experience” or demonstrate limited functionality will be removed.
