Figma has temporarily removed its Make Designs tool after users noticed it generated designs too similar to Appleās iOS weather app.
CEO Dylan Field acknowledged the issue, attributing it to a rushed launch and a lack of variation in the design system. The AI models used were not trained by Figma but by third-party providers like OpenAI and Amazon.
Figma is reviewing the tool and plans to re-enable it after ensuring it meets quality standards.

DJI Enters E-Bike Market with Amflow PL
DJI, known for its drones, is launching the Amflow PL electric mountain bike featuring its new Avinox drive system.
The bike boasts a 120Nm torque mid-drive motor, an 800Wh fast-charging battery, and a carbon fiber frame, weighing just over 42 pounds. The Amflow PL includes smart features like a built-in OLED touchscreen, wireless app connectivity, and advanced pedal-assist modes.
Expected to ship in Q4, it will compete with premium e-bikes in the $7,500 to $12,850 range.
