Figma Already Pulls AI Tool After Criticism

Figma has temporarily removed its Make Designs tool after users noticed it generated designs too similar to Appleā€™s iOS weather app.

CEO Dylan Field acknowledged the issue, attributing it to a rushed launch and a lack of variation in the design system. The AI models used were not trained by Figma but by third-party providers like OpenAI and Amazon.

Figma is reviewing the tool and plans to re-enable it after ensuring it meets quality standards.

Worldā€™s First Horizontally Foldable 360-Degree Laptop

Acemagic has introduced the X1, a dual-screen laptop with a unique horizontal fold. The X1 features twin 14-inch 1080p displays, an Intel Core i7-1255U processor, 16GB of DDR4 memory, and a 1TB PCIe 3.0 SSD.

Despite some dated specs, its side-folding screen and lightweight design make it a standout for multitasking.

The laptop also includes a quote from Steve Jobs, ā€œStay hungry, Stay foolishā€ etched in gold, adding a touch of novelty.
