A post shared by Bumble (@bumble)

Bumble is pulling its controversial billboards that seemingly shamed celibate women. The dating app company faced backlash for ads mocking celibacy, with messages like ā€œA vow of celibacy is not the answerā€ and ā€œDonā€™t give up on dating and become a nun.ā€

Bumble admitted their mistake in an Instagram post, saying they aimed to bring humor but failed.

Theyā€™re now removing the ads and donating the ad space to organizations supporting women, like the National Domestic Violence Hotline.
