BMW has teamed up with the robotics startup, Figure, to bring human-like robots to their factories.

Meta Is Spending Billions On NVIDIA AI Chips
Meta is significantly investing in Nvidia’s H100 graphics cards, essential for artificial intelligence (AI) research and projects.
Mark Zuckerberg, in an Instagram Reels post, revealed that by the end of 2024, Meta aims to build a vast compute infrastructure, including 350,000 H100 cards.
With each card costing between $25,000 to $30,000, the total expenditure could be around $9 billion – aka chump chang (jk).
Furthermore, Meta plans to integrate nearly 600,000 H100 equivalent GPUs, including other types.
This substantial investment in high-performance GPUs is driven by Meta’s pursuit of research in artificial general intelligence (AGI), aiming for human-level AI intelligence.
Yann LeCun, Meta’s chief scientist, emphasized the critical role of GPUs in AI development. He referenced an “AI war,” with Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang providing the necessary technology.
Meta’s 2024 total expenses are projected to be between $94 billion to $99 billion, largely due to computing expansion, with AI being the primary investment focus.
Finally, Zuckerberg announced plans to “open source responsibly” Meta’s future developments in general intelligence – helping make AI available in all of our daily lives
