Amazon Says Prime Deliveries Are Getting Faster
Amazon has significantly accelerated its Prime delivery service, achieving over 2 billion same or next-day deliveries to Prime members in the first quarter of 2024 alone.
The company notes that nearly 60% of Prime orders in 60 major U.S. metropolitan areas are now fulfilled within a day.
The expansion of faster delivery options comes as Amazon continues to invest heavily in its logistics capabilities, including an in-house fulfillment network with planes, trucks, drones, and robots, aimed at competing with traditional shipping companies like FedEx and UPS.

ChatGPT Remembers Preferences Of Paying Customers
OpenAI has improved ChatGPT with a new “Memory” feature, now available to ChatGPT Plus subscribers outside Europe and Korea.
This functionality allows the AI to remember user preferences and details across sessions, transforming ChatGPT into a more personalized assistant.
Users can instruct ChatGPT on specific memories to retain or have it learn from ongoing interactions — making interactions more efficient by recalling user preferences like meeting note styles or personal details relevant to tasks.
This feature will also be rolled out to ChatGPT Enterprise and Teams subscribers, with plans to expand to custom GPTs in the GPT Store, though specific timelines for these extensions were not disclosed.
Microsoft Rolling Out OneDrive’s Offline Mode
Microsoft has begun deploying a new offline mode for OneDrive on the web — available to work and school account users.
This update allows users to access and manage files without an internet connection, enhancing the service’s utility with capabilities to open, rename, sort, move, and copy files offline. The changes will then sync once connectivity is restored.
The enhancement builds on the existing Files On-Demand feature, which is integrated into File Explorer on Windows and Finder on macOS, allowing users to select which files are always available on their device.
